Sunday Snapshot: Peregrine Falcon in Downtown Ottawa, Kansas

My husband, Jim, gave me my Christmas gift early this year: a new camera. Giddy to have a 20x zoom lens, I wandered around downtown shooting photos of roof lines and cornices. Through the lens of my camera, I spotted a peregrine falcon perched on the decorative broken pediment of a circa 1870 building at 212 South Main Street, which is part of the Historic Ottawa Central Business District listed on the National Historic Register.
